A solo exhibition by Aprilia El Shinta’s. Exhibition on view at ARTSPACE - ARTOTEL Living World Grand Wisata Bekasi, Lobby Level from July 31, 2026 until November 4, 2026.  This exhibition comes from Aprilia El Shinta’s (agrisss) reflection on the friendships that have shaped her life. As time and distance separated her from many of the people she once knew, she found herself looking back with a sense of longing. These memories remind her of those who influenced the way she thinks, feels, and understands herself. Through seven artworks, Agris portrays people who have played important roles in her life. Each work reflects a different experience of friendship: friends who gave her hope, introduced her to faith, encouraged her to overcome loneliness, taught her how to care for relationships, helped her see herself more clearly, and became deeply meaningful in her journey. These experiences are expressed through symbolic works titled Ulat Bulu, Ketuhanan, Terkurung, Melahirkan Teman, Sapi Perah, and Kerang-Kerang. While many contemporary artworks focus on major social or political issues, this exhibition explores something more personal and familiar: friendship. Through these works, Agris reminds us that friendship is more than simply spending time together. It is a place where hope, learning, courage, and personal growth can begin. Rooted in her own experiences, the exhibition invites visitors to reflect on the people who have helped shape who they are today.
